Welcome to my world.....

Welcome  Beinvenidos   Selamat Datang  Bienvenue  Bem Vinda

say televisions that really might be watching us. We must not forget the Cloud, whatever the heck that really is, and will become in the course of time. It has also provided us with incredibly nimble communication tools. I created this webpage initially to promote the release of my historical novel, Tiers of War. During my journey into the world of self-publishing I realize that I can also use my site to capture more than that. The site also includes short stories I have written. Thought this was a good place to capture.

I am leaving on March 27th on another motorcycle adventure. This time to California and back, staying off the interstate system if at all possible. Love the old US highways. I intend to blog my trip. There is a lot of time in the saddle to think, about things like story lines, characters, and tension creating angles. Current affairs are rich fodder. I intend to publish my sequel, A Cause Undone, while on the road. Should be fun. Follow along with me on the journey.

Our society has evolved into an era of passwords, IDs, Facebook, Twitter, and now they I can still do more. I also use this page to capture personal images, videos, thoughts that perhaps I will share at the appropriate time. I am treating this as my heartfelt thanks to all of you who purchased Tiers of War. This was truly and exciting milestone in my life. I am encouraged by the sales, and proud of the reviews it has received, not only formally on Amazon, but also in all the emails, text messages and phone calls I have received. Thank you.

William Whitney first experienced high adventure at the age of eleven through Boy Scouts, and has sought more ever since. During that early period, he was introduced to the marvelous, engaging tales of Kenneth Roberts, Alexander Dumas and James Fennimore Cooper. He was hooked on the fascinating dynamics of historical fiction.

His life's lessons laid a solid foundation. Earning degrees in geology, law and business administration, with an affinity for learning languages, coupled with a desire to see the world, presented opportunities for him to experience living in seven countries outside the United States. He taught high school students while living in Swaziland’s bush country where he learned … and used Zulu. Read More
